Keeping in Touch

“Keeping in Touch” is Calvary’s Lay Visitation Ministry and it is part of the Caring and Outreach Core Committee. In addition to clergy visitation, lay volunteers keep in contact with members and share God’s Love in multiple ways.

Loneliness, isolation and a lack of feeling value are some of the by products that can occur when health or other concerns create a new normal. Our mission and goals are to provide friendship, prayer and communion to Calvary members unable to attend worship services.

Covid-19 restrictions have exaggerated the loneliness and isolation this past year. Cards and calls have been the main outreach to Calvary members to continue a caring relationship. Currently over thirty members receive cards and eventually we will be able to do in person visits.

Our current WONDERFUL volunteers are:
Larry and Renee Bexell, Candy Bugge, Jackie Cheney, Sara Forsberg, Nancy McDowell,
Marlene Seach, Martha Thompson

Please consider joining our team and keep this lay ministry in your prayers. Contact the
church office for more information if you are willing to join our mission.
